University of Pittsburgh School of Law
Welcome to the website for Copyright Law at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, for the Fall 2001 semester. The contents of this site are listed below. "Syllabus" includes reading assignments for the entire semester. "Supplemental Readings" provides links to all reading assignments not included in the casebook for the course. "FAQ" includes all the practical information you need to know about the class--required texts, class meeting times and room assignments, office hours, and examination information. "Presentations" links to a list of the presentations used in class; if slides are used in class, they will be posted here afterward.
The Syllabus and FAQ can be downloaded and printed in two additional formats: .pdf (this requires the Adobe Acrobat reader, which is available here for free), and .doc (this will download and print through Microsoft Word).
If you have a disability for which you are or may be requesting an accommodation, you are encouraged to contact me (Prof. Madison) and the University's Office of Disability Resources and Services (DRS) as early as possible in the term. That Office is located at 216 William Pitt Union. It can also be contacted at (412) 648-7890/(412) 383-7355 (TTY). DRS will verify your disability and determine reasonable accommodations for the course.
