Business Resources on the Internet

This page has been prepared in conjunction a program on "Business Resources on the Internet", for the 3rd Northeast Regional Conference for chapters of the American Association of Law Libraries, held in Toronto, Ontario in October 1996. Robert Sullivan, Business Reference Librarian at Reed, Smith, Shaw and McClay in Pittsburgh, PA, and George Pike, Director of the Law Library, University of Pittsburgh, are the program presenters and responsible for this page.

This page provides links to and descriptions of over 200 WWW home pages providing business reference information. Included are academic, governmental and commercial pages containing a wide variety of information. The list has been broken down into several catagories, including: company information, economics and banking, stock markets, marketing, science and technology, Intellectual property, locating people, experts, and government resources. Additional catagories include business news, general business reference tools, and internet resources.

This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the internet's resources. Several WWW locations were found - and are listed - which provide large-scale lists of links to business resources. If you have any questions, comments or suggested additions, please contact George Pike at pike@law. pitt.edu, or Robert Sullivan at rjsulliv@pop.rssm.com.

Thank you.
