EXPERIENCE:          University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: 1994-present

Responsible for law library operations, including development and implementation of library policies and services, long and short term planning, budget preparation and administration, personnel management, and library development.  Active in information technology policy and planning with other members of the School of Law administrative staff.  Major projects include planning, design, fundraising and management of $1.75 million in library renovations, and implementing electronic resources in the Law Library through the University of Pittsburgh Digital Library partnership.

$    Teaching package includes Information Law & Policy seminar, Foundations of Legal Research, Internet Research, and Specialized Legal Research.

$    Coordinator for 2002 Law at Sea summer program.   Teaching package included Cultures of Law & Justice and Comparative Civil Liberties, plus administrative responsibilities prior to and during the voyage.

$    Additional teaching activities include Legal Methods instructor in 1998 and 2000 American Bar Association Committee on Legal Education Opportunities (CLEO) Summer Institutes, Law Resources and Services course at the School of Information Science (SIS), CLE programs on traditional and Internet legal research and Internet ethics, and several workshops on legal issues for librarians.

Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College, Portland, OR: 1991-1994

Responsible for day-to-day operations, including budget administration, implementation of library policy, participation in long and short-term planning, personnel administration and management of CALR and CALI programs.                

$    Reorganized Reference and Attorney Services departments, including hiring new staff, strengthening departmental services, and creating new and enhanced programs, publications and services.

$    Developed and taught first-time Advanced Legal Research course.

$    Planned and oversaw library remodeling efforts including projects to upgrades the library=s interior lighting, install compact storage and to improve computing and group study space.
